Front Runner- Neo Deba

Front Runners are exceptional individuals who run for the cause of educating children at Bhumi.

Every stride they take helps Bhumi support the children with their literacy, numeracy and life skills.

Thank you, Front Runners – for taking us forward in this journey of Change.

Tell us a little about yourself!

Hello! Neo here, an ardent and passionate sports enthusiast who tries to maintain a balance between his corporate life and everyday fitness. Hailing from the IT background, my hectic schedule and strenuous lifestyle was taking a toll over my mind and body.

What made you take up running?

Running was always a stress buster for me. Being involved in sports from a tender age, running gave me solace from the day to day turmoil. I got introduced to the world of running in Mumbai, after experiencing Standard Chartered Mumbai marathon first-hand, the running bug bit me.

What does running mean to you?

Running serves a purpose in each person’s life, it teaches you different ways of life. Running is uniquely compatible with pretty much any occupation, lifestyle, or income level.

What is the source of your inspiration? What keeps you motivated to continue running ?

My source of inspiration is the Tata Mumbai Marathon. Running is the trendsetter to a buoyant lifestyle. It keeps me motivated and helps me to lead an optimistic way of life.

Do you think running should be associated with a cause ? Why ?

Yes , I think it  helps in spreading awareness about the cause .

How do you associate Bhumi with the cause you believe in ?

Bhumi Run stands for a good cause of spreading education, which I believe is really important in today’s world. Keep running and keep motivating people .
